Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to the Pull Up School beta, distributed through Apple TestFlight.
01Who this is
Pull Up School is a personal iOS project by Pieter de Kroon, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (KvK 67712975). Get in touch through pieterdekroon.com.
02What the beta is
Pull Up School is unfinished software distributed through Apple TestFlight. It is provided free of charge, as is, with no warranty of any kind. It may crash, miscount, lose data, or stop working. Builds may change or be withdrawn without notice, and the beta may end at any time. Apple's TestFlight terms apply alongside these terms.
03Not fitness or medical advice
Pull Up School records what you do. It does not assess your health or whether an exercise is safe for you. Training on a pull-up bar carries a risk of injury. You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for deciding what you are fit to do. If you are unsure, ask a doctor or a qualified coach.
04The count is not authoritative
Rep counts are estimated from motion sensors and will sometimes be wrong. A counted rep means the motion matched the pattern. It does not mean the rep was done well. Do not treat the log as an accurate record for anything that matters beyond your own training.
05Your data
Your training log and settings stay on your iPhone and are never sent anywhere. The app does send anonymous recordings of how your phone moved during a recorded set, so the rep detection can be improved. Those recordings carry no name, account, device identifier or location. ThePrivacy Policy explains exactly what is stored, what is sent and how long it is kept. By using the beta you agree to that policy.
06Your email address
If you sign up as a tester, your email address is used for one thing: telling you when there is a build. It is not shared, sold or used for anything else. You can unsubscribe from any email or ask for your address to be deleted, and it will be removed. You must be 16 or older to sign up.
07Feedback
If you send feedback, bug reports or suggestions, they may be used to improve the app without restriction and without compensation. Do not send anything you consider confidential.
08Ownership
The app, its name, its design and its content belong to Pieter de Kroon. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the beta. You may not copy, redistribute or reverse engineer it, or share your TestFlight invite.
09Liability
To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any damage, injury, data loss or missed progress arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence.
10Changes and applicable law
These terms may change; the current version always lives at this address. Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam.
